EVAN’S Story

I started playing the sport when I was small. My dad always had a basketball in my hands and has been my coach almost my entire career, up through high school and AAU. I love the sport because it makes me feel at peace and I love to compete. After high school I played at a Junior College and was named to the First Team Mid-Florida Conference.  After Junior College I came to Davis & Elkins. I chose Davis & Elkins because it was the only school that believed in me coming out of Junior College.

WHY ULTRA ANKLE?

I love my Ultra Zoom brace because it allows me to move without restrictions and protects me from any type of ankle injury. It helps me play with confidence because not only is it comfortable but I know I’m always protected. The brace is very stable and and holds my ankle in place to prevent injuries. WHAT IS THE BEST THING ABOUT PLAYING FOR DAVIS & ELKINS?

The best part is the family atmosphere. Everyone on the team has a tight bond. There are not a lot of other students around so it allows me to focus on just school and basketball.

WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE YOUNG PLAYERS IN YOUR SPORT?

Play with confidence at all times and go where you are wanted. make sure you put school first and always find time to work on your craft outside of practice.
