KIERNAN’S STORY

I started playing volleyball at just 4 years old, and it has always been my passion. I chose Kennesaw State University for its strong community and competitive program, and as a freshman, I was proud to play in all 30 matches and make an immediate impact on the court.

At Maryville High School (TN), I was honored to earn District MVP, Regional Tournament MVP, District Tournament MVP, Blount County Tournament MVP, and multiple All-District First Team selections, while helping my team capture county, district, and regional championships and qualify for the state tournament four years in a row.

Volleyball inspires me because it challenges me to grow, build strong relationships, and lead by example. My goals at KSU are to continue improving as a player, teammate, and leader, while making smart plays to help my team succeed.

WHY ULTRA ANKLE?

I like the Ultra Zoom ankle brace because it gives me the stability and support I need without restricting my movement on the court. It feels comfortable to wear, even during long practices and matches, and I never feel slowed down by it. The brace has helped me stay confident in my movements by preventing ankle injuries, and I know I can rely on it to keep me safe while playing at a high level. I would definitely recommend it to other athletes because it’s lightweight, dependable, and allows you to play freely while still being protected.

WHAT IS THE BEST THING ABOUT PLAYING FOR KENNESAW STATE UNIVERSITY?

The best part of playing for Kennesaw State is being surrounded by a supportive community, both on and off the court. I love competing with such a hardworking group of teammates and learning from coaches who push me to grow every day. Representing KSU gives me pride because I get to be part of a program that values teamwork, leadership, and constant improvement.

WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE YOUNG PLAYERS IN YOUR SPORT?

My biggest advice is to always believe in yourself and trust the process. Volleyball takes time, patience, and hard work, so don’t get discouraged if things don’t click right away. Focus on being coachable, giving your best effort, and supporting your teammates, those are the things that will set you apart. Most importantly, enjoy the game and remember why you started playing, because passion and love for the sport will carry you the farthest.
