ELLA’S STORY
I started playing volleyball at 14, and over the years it has become a huge part of my life. I now have the opportunity to play Division I volleyball at Indiana University, which is something I’m incredibly grateful for. Volleyball has taught me the importance of hard work, being a great teammate, and that I am so much more than my sport. I love the sport because of the relationships I’ve built through it. I’m supported by my teammates, my family, and the goal of becoming the best person I can be.
WHY ULTRA ANKLE?
I’ve had multiple ankle injuries throughout my volleyball career, so having an ankle brace that I can trust is really important to me. Ultra Ankle braces are the only braces I’ve worn that make me feel truly supported and confident on the court. I love that they provide the stability I need without restricting my movement, which is especially important in volleyball. They have also helped me when coming back from injury. I would highly recommend them to anybody that is looking for an ankle brace.
WHAT IS THE BEST THING ABOUT PLAYING FOR INDIANA UNIVERSITY?
Just the relationships we have with the coaches and teammates is just something you can’t get from every program. I love being part of a team that pushes each other every day, and I’m grateful for the friendships and memories we’ve created along the way. Representing IU and playing in front of our fans is also something I’m really proud of.
WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE YOUNG PLAYERS IN YOUR SPORT?
My biggest advice for younger players is never forget who you are. Because you’re more than just an athlete. There’s gonna be a lot of ups and downs, but there’s always a way through. Most importantly, remind yourself who you’re playing for.
