My son really likes the Zoom Ankle.  He feels they give him much more support than his lace-up braces, and with much more flexibility - specifically "up and down".  The biggest "plus" for him is the ease with which he can put them on, compared to the lace-ups, and that they keep their "tightness" on his leg/ankle.  He is very glad we purchased them, and I'll be ordering more soon so we have spares!

I have previously used top of the line lace up braces with figure eight straps as well as AirCast AirSport Ankle Braces, both of which were relatively effective.  I would note that putting on the lace up braces were highly tedious in order to ensure its effectiveness.  By comparison, the AirCast braces were even more effective but ridiculously bulky and somewhat uncomfortable at best of times while virtually unwearable with my latest pair of shoes (Under Armour Black Ice).  By comparison, once I broke the Zoom Ankle in which did not take long at all, they are the lightest and lowest profile braces that also provide total lockdown of the ankles without prohibiting mobility.  All in all, couldn’t be happier!

I'm an indoor and outdoor volleyball player. I play a fast game of AA and Open levels. I've been very prone to ankle sprains all my life. I've used Active Ankle in high school and college games, but found that my foot hurt from it. I've tried other ankle braces in the past as well, but found them all to be uncomfortable. They were either too tight or simply left me with blisters. I've been looking for a comfortable ankle brace for a while. I decided to give The Zoom a try, and it is by far the best decision I could have made. I love it. I recently tried it at two all day tournaments and found it to be very comfortable. I usually play soccer twice a week and need an ankle brace to prevent an ankle injury. I have always used lace-up supports.  Searching on internet to replace my old pair I found your product. So far I like them! I've worn several different braces, from lace-ups to Malleoloc and all kinds of crazy stuff, to limited success. I had recently rolled my ankle in a soccer game (again--fairly frequent occurrence) and was coming back from injury realizing I needed something that was going to be more supportive, but hopefully wouldn't get in the way of playing too much. I understand about the break-in period, and they're getting more comfortable to more I use them, and allowed me to play in a game that I probably shouldn't have played in recovery wise. At any rate, so far I'm very pleased.

The Zoom Ankle braces are great! I recommended them to a friend of mine and he has purchased a set too. We are Mountain Unicyclists and twisted ankles are a common occurrence so we are using the braces to prevent an ankle injury. The braces are very comfortable even after a long ride. I had extensive ankle surgery two years ago. I had torn both ligaments on the inside and partial tear on the outside. I have undergone much physical therapy and am considered cleared by the Dr. However I experience pain and swelling especially when I'm on my feet a lot. I can tell you that I adore your product.  I have had a valgus ankle problem for years and have been wearing uncomfortable, cumbersome and not quite useful AFOs.  This meant I could not wear skirts and had to buy oversized shoes.  Your brace is small, light and helps keep my feet at a better angle in almost all conditions.  All my ankle muscles work which was not the case before with the static AFO.  So I am getting stronger rather than weaker.  I can wear shoes that are actually my own size.  Your brace being low on the ankle permits me to wear small boots which in turn lets me were skirts.  I can walk for hours without being tired.  And please let me thank you so much....  It s incredible how such a small object can go a long way!

I am very satisfied with the Zoom ankle brace.  It's easy and quick to put on, very light weight, and flexible.  I tore the ligaments in my ankle 6 months ago, and obviously couldn't enjoy any sporting activities for quite some time.  Once I was able to partake again, I knew I had to have additional support for that ankle to prevent further injuries.  I play basketball, softball, and quite a bit of running.  The original brace my doctor gave me was straight from the 1950's.  It was very rigid and you had to place it in your shoe first, and then put your foot into it.  Needless to say it wasn't designed for a more active lifestyle, so I did some research online, saw your product, and decided to give it a try.  I'm glad I did.  This brace provided me with the confidence I needed to get back in the game, so for that I thank you.

I purchased the brace for my twelve year old daughter. She is a cheerleader and gymnast. She broke her ankle and tore several ligaments when she turned her ankle coming out of a hand tuck. After her cast came off her ankle was very weak and she was concerned about turning the ankle again. I researched and purchased several braces before I purchased the Zoom Ankle. None of the other braces seemed to offer the level of stability but flexibility she needed to prevent the ankle from turning again. Overall I'm pretty pleased with the brace.  The lace up braces did little to stop my ankle from rolling.  I have the Zoom Ankle.  Putting it on correctly was easy.  The brace does a good job of stabilizing my ankle.  It stops my ankle from rolling much better than a lace up.

Before wearing your brace I would turn my ankle every other week and it would never get time to heal.  I bought a second one for when I am in rough terrain I wear them both.  When I hear someone say they have weak ankle problems I chime in about your product. Works great. I don’t even know it is on my foot except for the great support it gives me.  Some things I would like to see are straps with a little more
length half inch or more to snug up if needed.  Thanks for a great product

I've used the Zoom Ankle playing Soccer about 7-8 times and my ankle has not been injured.  I have never used an ankle brace so I can't really compare, but I was definitely looking for something that did not restrict my movement and the Zoom Ankle brace does a great job at that. 

I know it protects ankle rolls really well.  I bought it not so much to protect from rolling, but when the ankle gets pushed outwards, via forceful impact on the toe portion.  It's hard to explain, but the best example would be playing defense in soccer, if you put your foot out in front of a ball that was about to be kicked, and the force of the kicked ball suddenly force your toes outwards, spraining the inner ankle ligaments.   I’ve already recommended it to other Soccer players and will continue to do so...

Well I finally got a chance to try the Zoom Ankle out and it has lived up to my expectations. It is by far the best brace I have used. I’ve sprained both my ankles repeatedly since I was 13 years old. Tape has always been a favorite preventative measure, but since I graduated high school I haven’t been able to do so. I’ve gone thru a lot of lace-up braces and they don’t have the comfort or support level of this brace. You can tell from the first time you strap in and walk around that this is the real deal. I purchased the Zoom Ankle brace in the hopes that it would protect a chronically weak ankle during Soccer games, and it has performed wonderfully. About nine months prior to purchasing the Zoom Ankle, I suffered a pretty serious injury to that always-worrisome ankle and despite my best efforts, my rehab process had reached a frustrating plateau. I used a lace-up ankle brace (with the Velcro cross-straps) for about three months and then switched to a neoprene sleeve. The sleeve just wasn't providing enough support, and I could never love the lace-up due to it's bulk and the fact that I could never get a really good fit. I was basically limping through my training runs and taking ibuprofen before games to play with some comfort. With the Zoom Ankle brace, I immediately had more confidence during games -- it fits securely and feels even more supportive than the lace-up brace I'd used. The thing that I really love though is that there isn't any excess material in the front of the brace to bunch up when I flex my ankle -- so I almost forget I'm wearing a brace at all! Break-in time was minimal.  Along with some other changes in my rehab routine, the Zoom Ankle has definitely helped me break through that annoying recovery plateau.

Physicians need to get ankle sprains into this brace.  I am an RN and have been in practice for little over 7 years.  I have had a "hair line fracture" when I was a young teen.  I had rolled my ankle numerous times over the years and had been able to walk off the pain.  I broke my right ankle Sept 2009.  It was an avulsion fracture.  The air splint the doctor gave me to wear "all the time" is too big and bulky.  I needed the lateral support and have found it in this brace.  It is lightweight and easily fits into any shoe.  It provides great support laterally but still allows for the ROM of the ankle joint itself.

I have been using the Zoom for several months now and have been very pleased.  I have had no incidents of inversions.  I have found the braces to be easy to put on and take off.  The braces work well with most of my athletic shoes.  The one pair is more difficult due to the design of the shoe and has little to do with the brace itself.  The braces show little or no significant wear.  Thanks for a great product!  I have finally found a "keeper" brace.

I had a bad sprain on my left ankle in January and then another on my right when I came back in late February.  They are comfortable and do not seem to interfere with my play.  I can only remember one incident where I may have been glad I was wearing them.  I came down with a rebound and landed on another player's foot.  I definitely felt the brace impede my ankle from turning over, and it gave me time to simply fall to the floor.

I received and have worn the Zoom Ankle brace approximately six times.  I am using it for bowling on my slide foot, of which I had originally rolled and sprained the ankle about a month ago.  Although the ankle is still not fully healed as noted by still existing swelling above the joint on the outside and some pain during range of motion, the Zoom Ankle brace has allowed me to utilize full effort during each approach and slide.

So far I've used the ankle brace for stability. I had a grade 2 ankle sprain, very nearly a grade 3 after landing on someone's foot playing basketball. I've used the Zoom Ankle playing Basketball, Softball and Ultimate Frisbee; I've encountered similar twisting situations but the Zoom Ankle has prevented any injury. So far I'm very happy.  It's light, and doesn't constrain my movement. The stability is excellent, I feel confident that I won't roll my ankle. I've used the lace up braces in the past and this is far superior to those. I feel comfortable, my foot doesn't fall asleep, and I have confidence in full stability.

I love this Zoom Ankle brace.  It holds my ankle better than the lace-ups that I’ve been using for years.  I don’t think I could roll my ankle if I tried.  It allows me to mow the lawn, ride my bike and play with my boys in the yard.  The only problem is that I only ordered one, so I have been wearing the lace-up on my right and the zoom on my left.  I have really noticed that the zoom is so much quicker to put on and take off than the lace-ups.  I will be ordering another one this week.
