I purchased the Zoom Ankle brace in the hopes that it would protect a chronically weak ankle during Soccer games, and it has performed wonderfully. About nine months prior to purchasing the Zoom Ankle, I suffered a pretty serious injury to that always-worrisome ankle and despite my best efforts, my rehab process had reached a frustrating plateau. I used a lace-up ankle brace (with the Velcro cross-straps) for about three months and then switched to a neoprene sleeve. The sleeve just wasn't providing enough support, and I could never love the lace-up due to it's bulk and the fact that I could never get a really good fit. I was basically limping through my training runs and taking ibuprofen before games to play with some comfort. With the Zoom Ankle brace, I immediately had more confidence during games -- it fits securely and feels even more supportive than the lace-up brace I'd used. The thing that I really love though is that there isn't any excess material in the front of the brace to bunch up when I flex my ankle -- so I almost forget I'm wearing a brace at all! Break-in time was minimal.  Along with some other changes in my rehab routine, the Zoom Ankle has definitely helped me break through that annoying recovery plateau.

I play soccer and the Zoom Ankle is very comfortable, it does not limit my mobility in any way; it allows me to kick the ball like I always do and I can run at max speed with no problem or discomfort.  I also like it because it’s almost weightless and it fits in my soccer cleat very well, so far I got no complains about it.

My daughter, Kayla, is just starting her volleyball season this week. She has worn the Zoom Ankle to practices and absolutely loves them so far. She has not had any issues with ankle rolling, and it fits perfectly - whereas the other ankle braces she has tried (even some that were more expensive) left too big of gaps around her ankle. Physicians need to get ankle sprains into this brace.  I am an RN and have been in practice for little over 7 years.  I have had a "hair line fracture" when I was a young teen.  I had rolled my ankle numerous times over the years and had been able to walk off the pain.  I broke my right ankle Sept 2009.  It was an avulsion fracture.  The air splint the doctor gave me to wear "all the time" is too big and bulky.  I needed the lateral support and have found it in this brace.  It is lightweight and easily fits into any shoe.  It provides great support laterally but still allows for the ROM of the ankle joint itself.

I have been using the Zoom for several months now and have been very pleased.  I have had no incidents of inversions.  I have found the braces to be easy to put on and take off.  The braces work well with most of my athletic shoes.  The one pair is more difficult due to the design of the shoe and has little to do with the brace itself.  The braces show little or no significant wear.  Thanks for a great product!  I have finally found a "keeper" brace.

I had a bad sprain on my left ankle in January and then another on my right when I came back in late February.  They are comfortable and do not seem to interfere with my play.  I can only remember one incident where I may have been glad I was wearing them.  I came down with a rebound and landed on another player's foot.  I definitely felt the brace impede my ankle from turning over, and it gave me time to simply fall to the floor.

I received and have worn the Zoom Ankle brace approximately six times.  I am using it for bowling on my slide foot, of which I had originally rolled and sprained the ankle about a month ago.  Although the ankle is still not fully healed as noted by still existing swelling above the joint on the outside and some pain during range of motion, the Zoom Ankle brace has allowed me to utilize full effort during each approach and slide.

Although I don't consider myself an athlete, I did however in the middle of May tore/stretched two of my tendons in my ankle.  But being a firearms instructor and walking up and down the range on uneven ground, the brace gave me peace of mind knowing that my ankle was supported and would not roll.  I will recommend this product to anyone looking for a device small enough to do the job!!

So far I've used the ankle brace for stability. I had a grade 2 ankle sprain, very nearly a grade 3 after landing on someone's foot playing basketball. I've used the Zoom Ankle playing Basketball, Softball and Ultimate Frisbee; I've encountered similar twisting situations but the Zoom Ankle has prevented any injury. So far I'm very happy.  It's light, and doesn't constrain my movement. The stability is excellent, I feel confident that I won't roll my ankle. I've used the lace up braces in the past and this is far superior to those. I feel comfortable, my foot doesn't fall asleep, and I have confidence in full stability.

My daughter tore two tendons in her ankle during softball last summer.  We were really worried that she might not be able to keep up with all of her sports.  She plays volleyball and softball.  After trying Active Ankle and a couple of others, we stumbled on the Zoom Ankle.  It has been fabulous!!  She was able to keep up as the varsity setter for volleyball and was named best offensive player for her softball team.  I just ordered two more for her to start off her senior year!! I love this Zoom Ankle brace.  It holds my ankle better than the lace-ups that I’ve been using for years.  I don’t think I could roll my ankle if I tried.  It allows me to mow the lawn, ride my bike and play with my boys in the yard.  The only problem is that I only ordered one, so I have been wearing the lace-up on my right and the zoom on my left.  I have really noticed that the zoom is so much quicker to put on and take off than the lace-ups.  I will be ordering another one this week. Lastly, I am very impressed with how helpful and quick you are to respond to questions.

I just wanted to let you know that I really like the Zoom Ankle braces that I recently purchased.  I use them playing indoor soccer and now outdoor soccer.  They fit nicely in my shoes and are not cumbersome.  I have had many ankle injuries over the years and feel that these will keep me playing for a long time.

I wanted to drop you a note and say how much I love the Zooms.  I play competitive and recreational basketball 3 times a week and it's critical that I feel supported as I go into each game. While I haven't turned my ankle yet these braces do give me the confidence that I don't have to fear a serious injury.  They are easy to put on and are very low profile.
